There is One Body

What is the One Body?

In Ephesians 4:4, Paul declares that the body of Christ is One Body. Some religious groups, such as Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics and Mormons claim that the one body is a single international organization.

But the Bible teaches differently. The Bible teaches that each local church is a separate lampstand (Revelation 1:20) and that the scope of authority of shepherds was limited to the local flock. 1 Peter 5:2

Rather than an organization being able to decide whether an individual is acceptable or not, the Bible teaches that no one can lay a charge against someone who God justifies nor separate a man or woman who is in fellowship with God from His love. Romans 8:33-35; Romans 8:38,39

The only gatekeeper, lawgiver, and way of Access is Jesus Christ - not a group of men nor an organization. Only through Jesus do we have access to the Father and His fellowship.

The one body is not an organizations, it is all individuals everywhere whose spirits God has pardoned.
